Direct thermal labels offer an inexpensive way to print paper labels, providing excellent print quality and can be used in a multitude of general-purpose applications. NO Ribbon is used for "direct thermal" printing. This means that the heat used to produce the images, text, and bar codes come in direct contact with your labels. This process allows you to produce the high quality barcode labels that you need without the worry of the label’s longevity. A common usage for direct thermal labels are for shipping and mailing labels that have a very short life expectancy.
